Concept

From lead to member

How a stranger becomes a member, and why each conversion rate looks at a group of people old enough to have finished deciding.

Most studios sell the same way: someone finds you, buys an intro offer, comes a few times and joins. Xyzios measures each step, and each rate waits for its group to finish deciding before it grades it.

  1. LeadA new profile that never booked or bought. Partner and gift-card profiles are not leads.
  2. IntroBought the intro offer. It is open until it is used up or its window ends.
  3. MemberBought a membership, and counts once it starts.
Lead → intro
The newest monthly group of leads that has had a full 60 days to convert. A younger month reads low only because it is still maturing.
Intro → member
People who bought an intro 30–90 days ago, and how many became members.

Why the rates look at older groups

A rate over people who are still deciding reads low for no reason. So Lead → intro waits a full 60 days on each month’s leads, and Intro → member looks at people who bought 30 to 90 days ago. The newest numbers are always a little behind the calendar, on purpose.

What does not count

  • Partner visits (ClassPass, Wellhub) and gift-card profiles are not leads.
  • An intro bought and never used, past its own window, is not open. It sits on its own call sheet, Intro bought, never used, with a gentler message than a deadline.
  • A membership bought but not started is not yet a member. Booking a first class starts it.

Where you meet it

The Sales Desk grades each step against your targets and lists who to call at each one. Sales shows the funnel and its cohorts over time, and Marketing follows leads back to the channel that brought them.
